| Greetings,
I recently upgraded to Dreamweaver 8. I haven't found any patches online yet.
I have been experiencing several problems that make me believe it isn't the
release but rather a problem with the install or some other aspect on my PC. I
keep my PC very clean of viruses, spyware, etc and I have used Registry
Mechanic as well. I consider my PC to be in excellent condition.
I am going to describe one problem in this post and immediately following this
I will describe another problem in another post.
I create a form on my web page, no problem. But whenever I insert a form
element by clicking on the form toolbar (a tab of the INSERT toolbar), it
begins trying to add labels and such in a dialog box titled "Input Tag
Accessibility Attributes". No matter what I do on this dialog, I get the
following message box when I press OK: "While Executing onClick in
FormOptions.htm, a JavaScript error occurred." It pops up twice every time I
click OK and the dialog box never closes. If I hit cancel then the form object
is placed without error.
My workaround was to go into options and disable all accessibility features.
The dialog no longers appears. The question here is ... is this a bug in
Dreamweaver or do I have a corrupted installation? If my installation is
corrupted, what's the fix? If it is a bug in Dreamweaver, is this posting
suitable as a manner of reporting it?
Thank you,
Jerry
