Author Template problem....

Hopefully someone can help out this ongoing problem that is causing
problems in DM2004MX.

Basically I have had an ongoing site which I regularly update for my
sons School: www.hillside.bromley.sch.uk

I have used one of the supplied templates, which I have adapted to
suit.

The site had been happily updating - and indeed still is - with one
exception. The index.htm file, located in the root directory, gets
updated to point to directorys from below the root.

eg A file directly below the root, should be updated as
"folder/file.htm", but for some weird reason, it is updated as
.../folder/file.htm" and as such I get "file not found".

The template and all links and files *has been set* as "relative".

I have no idea why this has started to happen - especially since it
has been working very well beforehand. It is as if the root directory
is set above where it actually is - despite the fact it isnt - and
proven further by the fact no further folder is added to all other
files being updated. This problem only affects the root directory and
nothing else.

I have checked all the site perameters and the root location and index
are as they should be. I have deleted the site and then recreated from
the template, but alas, it still wont update correctly for files in
the root directory. All over files below the root *do* get updated
fine.

Is this a known bug? Is there anything someone can suggest to try out
to rectify this annoying problem?

Many thanks
