| I have looked through all the preferences and the help file, but i cannot
fathom how to clear the OPEN RECENT menu under the FILE menu. I see there are
SEVERAL postings of this question but I cannot find an answer! This is driving
me absolutely batty! Any help out there? Cheers!

On Windows, it's a setting in the Windows registry:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Macromedia\Dreamweaver MX 2004\Recent File List
Select each file, right-click and select Delete.
Not sure where it is on a Mac.
