| Hello there,
Just finished updating my web site, (if there is such a thing). I would like
honest opinions please. Criteria being quick loading and pleasing to the eye.
Any other comments most welcomed,
kind regards, Martin.

Very nice look; clean design. Awesome background image on the front
page - did you do that yourself?
Some minor 'under-the-hood' points:
I saw some tables where you're using <th> elements inside the table,
presumably to bold and center the text. Use CSS instead; <th> means
'table header', and has semantic meaning for adaptive devices (screen
readers and the like). Likewise headline (<h1>, <h2>, ...) elements
inside list items (<li> ).
You're using <blockquote> to, I assume, indent text. Again, the tag
has a semantic meaning - the text inside this block is a quote. You
should use CSS to indent appropriate container tags (<p> ).
Externalize as much of your CSS as possible - it looks so much neater.

Also the contact page has faults in the bottom left corner. (In Opera)

| Thanks for your input Joe. The image on the home page was done by my friend. (I
can only dream of being that artistic). I did the easy bit of optimsiing the
image in fireworks ready for the web.
Thanks again for taking the time to look.
Kind regards, Martin.

| Hi Martin
A couple of issues in Firefox.
On the home page whatever nav link I click your site opens a new window,
which is odd. I can only guess it is because you are using absolute
paths and Firefox thinks it is going to a different site, which is how I
have my prefs to work.
Also, on the contact page you have this in your code below the tech
supprt info box.
<p><span class="contactsidebox"><br />
</span></p>
<p><span class="style35">
<br />
</span></p>
This shows up as two narrow boxes with the bg colour of the
contactsidebox class, looks odd, again in Firefox.
I see you are only down the road from me, I'm on the Wirral.

| Thanks for looking Jojo. I'll address the CSS and firefox issues asap.
It's a small world! At least today the weather has warmed up a little where we
live! (although the kids wished we had snow!)
Kind regards, Martin.
