any and all opinions welcome... thanks in advance! (i know most people and/or
web purists are going to take issue with the navigation at the top right. i
like it anyway ? i like the idea of there being a little mystery.)

(the one thing i still need to do is add status bar text to all the links.)

-the splash page does nto really have a point, except to confuse users and
search engines..

- while cute, the navigation of your site requires guessing what the letters
mean. If its meant to be a puzzle, its cute. If its meant to attract
customers, Id say its confusing. People poking around the web move very easily
to the next site if they cant quickly find what they want.

thanks for your inpiut - i think the "splash page" allows me to introduce the
name of the company and provide some necessary info (address, phone, etc.)
without having to have my logo and the accompanying info on every page (it
would be too heavy - what with the black and the futura extra bold condensed
and all). i find the "come on in" to be a little whimsical... like you expect
something big to happen and it doesn't.

how will it confuse search engines? (i'm fine if it does, by the way. i don't
really expect many people to find us by searching- the vast majority of people
who see the site wiill get them because i sent out an email announcing a site
update. and, if lack of recognition from search engines might equal less spam,
then all the better.

and yes, it's meant to be a little bit of a puzzle (see above about me talking
to existing contacts).

thanks again!

thanks for your opinions. while i couldn't agree less with most (all?) of what you wrote, i do appreciate the time you took to consider the site.

I like the navigation. I like the intro. Probably what bothered me most is the
fact that you're an ad agency and used incorrect capitalization throughout.
When you combine that with the simplicity of your site, it make you come across
very small. I really like the intro and was hoping for something very loud in
contrast to it within the site. I think the use of pastels is too quiet and
doesn't represent your work. I was very impressed with the portfolio and would
think it would serve you better to make the site at least equal to it. Even if
it was at least something behind the white box. It's just all the same. One
more thing, there is too much text and people stop reading. Have more bullets
and graphics to break up the monotony of the type (but being in marketing, I'm
sure you know that). Sometimes we're just too close to things.

"Why do you think splash pages and mystery navigation appeal to anyone?"

because it's a big world and there's more than one way to do something.

thank you.

by the way, do you know if it's possible to add status bar text sitewide... to all documents at once? or do i need to literally go in and add it to every image?

thanks again.
