table table table table {
margin: 25px 0 0 25px;
}

The selector above will accomplish b for you.

The line spacing is trickier as you have all the content in tds when it
should really be in list elements. FWIW it doesn't want to be any closer
in Firefox.

thanks for your reply. i think i fixed the position issue on my own
(differently than you suggested ? as i don't really understand where the code
you provided would go). i'll tackle the line spacing later but, in the
meantime, i was wondering if you could peek at it again and tell me what's
going on with my last row? i have a white spacer there and, everytime i try to
make the row the same size as the spacer, it sends the line above it out of
whack.

any feedback you can provide on the overall cleanliness of this table ? as
well as the whole page ? page would be grealty appreciated.

re: the line spacing... i just noticed that it looks tighter in firefox and ie than it does in safari. does that provide any additional insight?

Agreed, it looks good to me in Firefox, spacing-wise. I don't think there's
any way to tighten up the spacing, since the table cells already have no
cellpadding or cellspacing.

You could make a 3-column table, and put a list in each one, and then
control the spacing of the list items with CSS.

Perhaps float the lists to give yourself the desired layout.

Table "column" (cell).
