This may well be a well worn topic, so apologies if it has been done to death
some where else, and if this is the wrong place to ask.
I run a small agency in Spain and currently use Studio MX 2004. Which is fine
for my needs currently. I also use Creative suite as well. I am tempted to
upgrade to Studio MX 8, to stay up to date, and i am attracted to some of the
new features. However i dont want to spend the money only to find that i have
to upgrade next year once Adobe release their product roadmap for CS and Studio.
So i am interested in peoples thoughts on whether this is the right time to
upgrade.
Many Thanks.

Hi

No one knows what will happen in the future or when the next release
will happen, I doubt it will be soon and logic might say it could be
further away than normal due to the re-jigging of whatever may need
re-jigging...

Personally I think DW 8 is a great upgrade and I would go (and did) for
it. With the move from tables to CSS forever gathering pace and the CSS
improvements in DW8 I would say its a must. You could dl the trial and
check it out to make a decision based on your needs.

hi. in my opinion don't upgrade as of now. first try it then decide. if it is
addressing your needs or it exceeds your needs and you feel that it may result
in faster development and low cost then go ahead and buy. i would recommend
that you buy DW and FLASH seperately as i didnt find much advancements in
FIREWORKS. well you are the best judge yourself so go ahead and try.
