Author min-height and min-width problem

I have used the DW templates to create a site. I have very little knowledge of
CSS so used the templates in the hope that DW would generate code that worked.
The pages work fine on Firefox, but DW flags all the min-height and min-width
statements as being (correctly) incompatible with IE. When running on IE a
large gap appears at the top of the page.

I had sort of assumed that if DW identified browser compatibility errros it
would also offer a solution - but I can't see one. The help screen just says
fix the problem. I am happy to use Firefox but most of my customers use IE, so
I have to fix it. I found a web site that suggested that inserting !important
would fix the problem, but it does not seem to.

Any ideas for a simple solution?

There is not a simple solution. IE doesn't support min-width or min-height.

The less than simple solution is to use IE conditional comments to track the
width/height and write the desired values accordingly. If you have very
little knowledge of CSS, I'm afraid you are in trouble, but post a link to
your page, and you'll find plenty of help here.
