Is there anyway to make a site look the same size using different monitor resolutions. ie 800x600, 1024x768,ect..
Maybe using % ?

I reccomend taking a look at this article by Patty Ayers:

Take care.

I have a problem with the size of my webpage as well. There is at the bottom a
scroll bar so my page isn't 1024x768 friendly.I have tried anything but the bar
is still there making me go nuts.I tried to make the page as small as it gets
but nothing. Is there a setting that defines the resolution of the webpage?

You need to build a flexible page....
This is a good tutorial to get started:
http://www.dwfaq.com/Tutorials/Tabl...ible_tables.asp

Why not post a link to your page and maybe some can offer some further
advice.. it has to be in the way you have laid out your page... dimensions
of images, width of table etc.,

Size of the content within the page.

I dont want to post a link for my webpage as its content is something that I would rather keep secret from the general public.

I'll try to remake the page by using the link provided. Thanks

Is it a website or not? The web is a public thing! Even if it's for an
intranet - without seeing some code it's nearly impossible to help you.

Okay, but that's not a *setting* in Dreamweaver, that defines the resolution
of the webpage, like the OP inquired.

If it's content you don't want the general public to see, then don't put it
up on the web. Or, at the very least, protect it behind a login system.

what ive been wondering is the resolutions higher than 1024x768. I mean, if a
font is to not look monstrous on 800x600 but it is to look readable on 1280
etc... you either have to have it huge on one side or tiny or another, or maybe
i dont understand something.... cant get hold of any higher than 1024 to have a
look at, maybe they just provide extra space, but display the same sizes as
1024? The word is there are as many user higher than 1024 as there are of 1024
itself, that would be something to plan for right? someone please help...

Just make your site so that the text size can be adjusted by the visitor,
and so that your layout doesn't fall apart when they do so, and you'll be
fine.

"The word is there are as many user higher than 1024 as there are of 1024
itself"

The word is wrong. According to
http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp, only 14% of users are
using higher than 1024.

Anyway, your assumption seems to be that people who use 1024 or higher are
doing so on screens the same size as those who are using 800x600. Generally,
not so -- they have physically bigger screens, and therefore can see more
pixels without making the fonts smaller.

Hi. This may sound stupid, but could someone tell me how to set the web page content so that it is CENTRED on the screen, no matter what size monitor is being used? Just like this site!

Thanks!

Depends on what method you are using to build your page, but here's a good
start -

<table align="center"....
