Just code them back to back:

Just place the images side by side, don't hit the enter key, or you will
move to a new line.
Why don't you want to place the images in separate cells in a table.. would
be the easiest and probably cleaniest way for you..

Curious question, how did YOU block the View Source? On your page this is
grayed out.
