I created a small image with some animation and when I go to preview it on the browser, only a little x comes up, what am I doing wrong?

that means the file is either not a valid web image file that the browser
understands, or that the image is missing (ie, not in the location that the
HTML is pointing at).

Is your GIF placed in an HTML page?

check the path of the gif
maybe not in the right place
