Does anyone know how to stop Dreamweaver Mx from automatically sending
dependent files every time i update a page?
If i alter some text on a page, it then sends all the images etc again. Is
there an easy way to stop it doing this?

Thanks
Steve

Edit/Preferences/Site .. make sure the "Prompt before Put/CheckIn " is
checked.

Then when you are prompted, say No.

For what it's worth, DMX does NOT put files that have not been changed.

When a file is put to the server using DMX, the timestamps of the local and
the remote files are synchronized to server time. If a dependent file has
the same timestamp on the server and in the local site, it will not be
uploaded. It is checked during the upload process, but then passed over.
