| Hello,
I am writing to solicit some advice on my site layout. I've been trying to
learn and use CSS for about a month now and I am not happy with the site I
initially made using CSS. The quandry I'm in is that I want my old site
www.baum-hs.eu.dodea.edu to be much more cleaner in a layout that I have
made that looks like this www.baum-hs.eu.dodea.edu/Beta2/ I want things
centered on a page and not statically stuck on the left side of a page.
I'm having a hard time getting the centered layout I want using tables and
CSS. I see sites all the time which are perfectly centered with perfectly
placed tables and boxes that don't use tables. How do they achieve this
with CSS? An example are any of the www.csszengarden.com sites. I'm in
total amazement and totally oblivious as to how they do this? Using <div>
seesm to be the key, but I don't know if I'm right in guessing that or
wrong.
I'd apprecieate any advice. I've read a bunch of books and websites, but
nothing seems to give me the exact answer I'm looking for. Thanks in
advance!
