Murray

I ran into a new problem related to topic I raised last week.

I now understand how to apply the <on click> behavior action choice to a
graphic when creating a "open browser window" behavior linked from a
graphic, but trying to create a "open browser window" behavior from selected
text on a page, the drop down list of actions only displayed an "on click"
action, but not a <on click> choice such as was available when linking from
a graphic.

If I select the "on click" action, the text on the page behaves as a link
when clicked, but does not cause cursor to turn into a "hand" in browser
when moused over. What is missing in this case, to get the linked text to
act correctly in browser?

I'm not Murray, but do you have an href attribute in your <a>? If
not, you might try href="#"

When applying event handlers to selected text, there is nothing to worry
about. DW is correct to only show you the onClick and not the <A> onClick
events.
