If America stopped buying you would probably loose your job. :-)

Apple has been targeted as this consumerist whore factory which is quite
sad, as people fail to realize that Apple's success has to to with quality
products that server a purpose...not consumer whoredom.
Granted, like any company that sells product, it needs to keep pumping the
stuff out, but Macs have traditionally outlasted most other computers in
households. People will keep their Mac running for years beyond many PCs.
Of course, I'm all for reducing consumerism, but there seems to be so many
more justifiable targets than Apple.
But, to each their own.

Nah, Apple servers are few and far between. They are, however, based on
BSD, which will run on about any platform...

| this thread is a classic case of inferiority complex. it generally stems from
a feeling of inadequacy... and if you actually support Microsoft and the
horrific products they release, then it's understandable where this feeling
comes from. i think it's pretty funny how there is more and more hate speech
from PC magazines and PC users lately. Are you afraid you're using an inferior
product? Is it scary to you that Apple has great products that people love?
What's the problem? The 2005 line of Apple hardware and software products is
outstanding, award winning, and recognized as being not only best in market,
but quite a bit ahead of the competition in function, design, stability,
security, and ease of use. Do any of those things sound like bad traits?
Don't knock something until you've actually tried it. If you can't understant
why there are people that love using their Macs, that's because you don't own
the type of computer you can really enjoy. If you did, maybe you'd understand
why people enjoy their prduct line so much.

Someone's a touch oversensitive. Learn to recognize parody when you see it.
BTW - let me know when you see a Microsoft computer. I'm perfectly happy
using a host of different computers using Intel's basic architecture, and
none of them were built by Microsoft. Not all of them run Windows, either.
I have a beautiful little Compaq humming along on Linux just so I can see
what all the fuss is about.

Actually, I had posted this before I figured out what a dill weed this guy

comical. Perhaps drunk, definitely incoherent. Or, he might be 13 years
old. Seems very immature.

either for forum people, every browser other then IE on XP is totally screwed
up. Firefox on XP, Netscape, Opera, etc..... all don't display the site
correclty. ANd of course, it does the same thing for all the mac users using
all these browsers too. it's a real problem, and 'dill weeds' as you put it
like yourself, are so clueless you dismiss it as an issue with Macs when it's
just poor web design and not defining the text areas properly / css
stylesheets. it could be easily fixed for all the forum users, but with idiots
like yourself that can't figure out the problem its never going to happen.
