Okay, I deleted the Preferences file.

First I exported my settings.

Two things happened:

1. My Manage Sites settings DID NOT disappear. I have some 20 sites I maintain
that are still fully functional in the Sites Manager AFTER I deleted the
Preferences file. Why is that?

2. The reason why I was wanting to delete my Preferences was the following
problem . . . maybe someone will know why whis happens.

If I select a New HTML Page, immediately I view the Code side and right after
the </html> brackets I get anything from Chinese looking code to question marks
to who knows what. This happens all the time no matter what site I'm starting a
new page from and the code is always different.

Basically, I want there to be a 'clean' coded page when I open up a new HTML
page and not have to delete the garbbled junk after the </html> bracket.

Again, it's there 100% of the time.

Any suggestions?

Why not just use the Site Manager - select the site(s) delete them there?
That's what it is for.
