Author mouse-over scrollbar

Hi. I have a site which currently uses frames (3 horizontal). The centre frame
contains a series of images that extend beyond the width of the page to create
a 'gallery' effect. Frames were initially used as this placed a scrollbar
directly beneath the images allowing people to scroll across easily. I want to
get rid of the frames and thought that I could do this by having an icon or
image, which would scroll across the page on mouse-over. Is this java or flash
and if so where can I find code that would do this?

It's javascript, and there are a number of free and commercial extensions
for DW that you can use -
