Hi tamara,

To center a website, you can use a table like this:
<table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
<tr>
<td align="center">&nbsp;</td>
</tr>
</table>

And you put all your content in the main cell. However, if you try this in
Dreamweaver MX 2004, you'll find that it doesn't work. It's because DW 2004
uses a different doctype in the heading (<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD
HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"
"http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd"> )

You will have to change it for an older one (like the one found in DW MX) or
simply remove it in order for the centering to work.

You need to build a 'fluid' layout so that the pages whatever sized window
viewport (not resolution).

and check out the table tutorials links at the bottom of the page.

Hi

Do you mean "fixed" kinda "stuck in the middle"

There was a song about that but I can't remember who sang it. :)
