I have noticed that when I view my webpages several links seem to appear from
nowhere. These seem to come from the web environment as they are not hyperlinks
in the code, and seem to be activated around 'key words' such as 'home' or
'search' etc and have the link destination... 'goto: [key word]' . i.e. 'goto:
home' or 'goto: search'. Why do these occur and how can I stop them from
appearing in the first place? Dylan

I had that happen to me too. The culprit is spyware that got installed onto
your system at some point. I don't recall which specific piece of spyware gave
me that symptom (for me it also highlighted these key words in yellow). Other
symptoms to watch for are ads for spyware removal popping up in ad placeholders
that normal would contain other (legitimate) ads, inexplicable redirections,
your home page changing, a bazillion pop-ups, etc.
I've run Adaware and Stopzilla, they've both done a great job at eliminating
the problems I was having. I'm sure other people will have their spyware
removal fave tools that they will suggest also (be careful you use a legit tool
though, clicking on a spyware removal ad that isn't real could just make your
problem worse).

Good luck!!
Tim
