Unfortunately, filing out the form for submission does not guarantee that your
site goes into their engine. The first people who get listed are those who
pay. The people who don't pay can wait up to a couple of months before they
are actually listed or listed high enough where it makes a difference. So
unfortunately there is not much you can do. Your best bet would be to use word
of mouth or another form of advertising to gain your initial boost of traffic,
then worry about the search engines once they finally add you.

Google ignores the meta tags - it looks at the pure text of the site instead
for indexing purposes.

1. Have you actually SUBMITTED the site to Google? You have to go to
http://www.google.com/addurl.html. You don't have to pay, and any paid-for
inclusions are shown seperately on Google anyway.
2. Do you have any good INCOMING links? You can link out to all the search
engines you want, but Google will rate your sites authority by looking at
the kind of site that links into it. Contact people with relevant related
sites (e.g everyone on your links page) and ask them for a reciprocal link.
3. Put some good, relevant content onto your pages.
4. View your site in a text-only browser, or at least with all images,
javascript, flash and CSS turned off. Because thats what a search engine
will see. It can be quite illuminating for some sites.
5. Read about SEO - it's the first entry on your link pages.

You may also have to wait a few months for Google to pick you up. In the
meantime, consider using Google AdWords to get your site onto peoples search
pages.

Pete.

Ok, so you have a page full of links, what you need to do is get your site
listed on some sites that have a high google ranking. That helps get the
spiders onto your page.

Keywords as you have below are not that important anymore. The Description
metatag holds more weight. If you believe Singapore Property is important
for searching, then change the abbreviation you have currently (S'pore) -
how many would type that into a SE....

Just a few tips :-)

Nonsense. No one pays for submission to Google. It's free.

If the domain is brand new and haven't been indexed by Google before,
it's usually placed in the sandbox and it might take up to 5-6 months
before it shows up when doing a regular search.

meta tags are not that important. the title tag is the most of the meta's.
your content and incoming links are VERY important. use gold position and
study results. they may offer a trial to see what the top ranked sites are
doing. also using broad general terms which has many indirect competitors
doesnt help too much. be specific. use overture tools to see what traffic
count is for your phrase. wordtracker has trial to see the competitive
index.. ie how many listings per phrase etc.
