Author How recreate site cache in DW MX?

I've just started getting an "exception throw in native function" when I
try to update the library in a site (standard html, no asp etc) (worked
fine yesterday, not today - go figure!)

Searching Google groups I found the advice to recreate the site cache by
going Site>Recreate Site Cache

However, There is NO "recreate site cache" command on the Site menu in
my copy of MX??!! Do I have to go Site>Edit Sites> then once I have
selected the site, uncheck the 'Enable cache' checkbox in the Local Info
section of the Advanced tab? Will that work?

thanks
Dave

The option receate cache is available in DW MX 2004 , but not in the DW
MX.version
But you can initiate the rebuild by first uncheck and then re-check "enable
cache" : you will see a short rebuild process.
I have have done that frequently in the past ....

Sometimes it recreates the cache when switching between sites under the
Files Panel.
