Author I broke DreamWeaver!

I was just experimenting with creating a Command for a simple copy/paste of
some html code... I selected my history tab and saved it as a command. Now if
I click on the Command menu, I get a javascript error. I tried to find and
erase the .htm that DreamWeaver says it created but it's not there. Any advise
on how I can fix this?

are you sure you are looking in the Configuration folder for You as a User,
if on xp or other multiuser os?

check here, about half-way down it explains where the folder is on various
os.

Another way to find it----
Dw uses the "Name" that you gave the command as the filename.
So, look in the Command menu for what name you gave it.
Then do a Seach of your hard drive for that_name.htm

Yes, the configuration folder

Aha! Thank you! I found them under Documents and Settings. Then I could edit
the files so they contained nothing, and I got my Command menu back again to
delete them. Thank you so much!

(Now I'll read the manual before trying that again!)

I haven't intentionally installed any extensions, but let me look in that folder and see if there's anything with today's date in it.

What DW extensions have you installed? It sounds suspiciously as if you
might have installed a non-DMX compatible extension.
