| I have this problem..... I have this web site that allows several different
departments to look at information. Each department is set up in a directory
under "wwwroot" such as "sales", "inventory", "IT
services"...(wwwroot/sales)...etc. There is one person in each department that
has permisson on the server to update and add documents.
The problem is, that the Administrator for the Web Server says I'm driving him
nuts with all the shares he has to create for each department. He is
recommending that I use one share folder to house all the documents from all
the different departments out of the wwwroot directory.
The problem I have with this is, Dreamweaver is set up so that my "root"
folder that I synchronize to is at "Inetpub/wwwroot"....how can I create all
these shares for documents outside of the "root folder" so that people can
upload and change, yet still be able to synchronize with Dreamweaver that is
pointing to the "wwwroot" directory?
Its it possible?
