No need for a faked address. There are enough freemailers out there with
spam filters, removing most of the crap. The last defense line is a
self-learning bayesian filter on the local machine (SpamPal with Bayes
plugin for example).
I use my usenet-address for many years(!) now, never changed it, it's on
hundreds of spam lists for sure, but with the filters my inbox is nearly
spam-free (maybe 1-2 per day).
