I cannot use the Server Behaviors connection to a database while going through
the Proxy.
Does anyone have a solution to this, or know what Proxy port needs to be
opened to allow this to function?

That would depend upon the database. For SQL Server, the default is 1433.
The port could be changed by the DBA, though.
