Author need good tutorial for membership/login site

Hey All
I have a potential client that would like its members or people given a
password to go to certain pages on the web site. Back a year or so ago I may
have remembered how to do this.. now, I need a good tutorial to show me how to
make a web site such as this. Does anyone have a good link for this?

I think it will be ASP with a SQL (mySql) database.. what do you mean by "analogous paths "? I did take some classes on this type of thing but I can't remember any of it -

I have a free tutorial on building a login page and restricting access to pages
using the inbuilt Dreamweaver behaviour.

Check on the Dreamweaver exchange there are few good extension that help
with this issue

Apart from the extensions and behaviours built into dreamweaver, this tutorial has taught alot of people the mechanics of how the process works:
