Dreamweaver - Tables and Forms

If this is possible I'm not sure how to do it.
I've designed quite a few complex forms that sit inside a table cell.
Illustrate-
One large cell with multiple rows make up the page then within some rows sit a
1 cell table
and holds the forms.
Now I've decided that i want to ditch the tables the forms are in, maybe go
CSS box , etc.
So is it possible to delete these 1 cell tables without losing the form ?
When I try now the form gets cut as well.

There is nothing wrong with using tables for forms, especially if they are
complex. Maybe use css to style the different elements of the form :-)
