On our intranet, I have an excel spreadsheet which I'd like to add a link to.
However, for various reasons, I need to have users open it in Excel rather than
a browser window. Is there a way to get links in an html page to open an
external file in their original application, rather than opening it in a
browser window? (ie: using the user's computer's file type settings)
(Browsers are ie6)
