Selecting a bunch of links and changing all the targets at once ...
|
|
| Greg Kelway 2004-08-26, 12:19 pm |
| Link by link... changing a few hundred links to target differently. I would
like them to target all of them to _blank. Is there a way to do this,
without having to visit each link individually.
It would be nice to select all the links and just change them all to _blank.
Any ideas?
Greg
P.S. I'm still a DW4 user ...

| Seems to me like a RegExp search and replace will do the trick, no?
Is it all links in the site, or just specific ones?

| What is the common element among them that will not be found anywhere else?

| Hmm... it's possible, but it may be hard to determine as each link connects
to a document that could be anywhere in a long directory structure (not
necessarily at the same level).
Not looking good eh?

| You can shorten the number of key strokes, but I think you still have to
select each link to be changed manually. There is a way to select a group
of entries in the history list and then just use that grouping to apply the
"_blank" target to the links. - Judy
