Author Why does inserting a script blow out my page in M

I am somehat new and have been working in what I think are unfit and unhumain
conditions. :-)

I use several public domain java scripts and it seems that whenever I paste
them into a table they immediately blow the page out in design view in MX. It
appears correct otherwise.

There must be something simple I am doing wrong. I can't imagine everyone
works like this.

Thanks

Ken
