Hiding Email Address in the form template

| I am implementing an email cloaking functionality for the body text of our
web pages. However, should I also be doing something with the contact form
mail template attched to our forms .. mailtemp.txt.
Do the bots read form templates as well?

| Are they linked from any page in the main site? If so, then yes.

yes the template is linked to from our main Contact Page form.
How do I go about hiding the email address in a mailtemp.txt file?

But the best suggestion is to put it somewhere serverside, where it can
never be accessed by a client.
