Author library updates - doesnt work properly

I've discovered that the Dreamweaver "Library" option doesnt seem to work
properly, e.g. You work on a page, make a library item for use, then when
updating the .lbi the changes are not made to the page that uses it, unless you
delete the item from the html page and drag & drop it back from the asset panel
back into the page again.

This seems crazy as the dialogue message does tell you that the update has
been done on the page, but it doesnt!
