hide annoying javascript icon?

| apologies if this has been addressed... perhaps i don't know what words to
search on, but i've tried.
anyway, i'm using a library item that has rollover images across a bunch of
pages. when i insert the Library item into the page, it displays the rollovers
just fine, but it also displays that little square that indicates a javascript,
which Dreamweaver can't seem to display without impacting the actual layout. in
this case, it's tweaking the entire page as i edit, but looks fine in a browser.
is there a way to simply hide that icon so i can edit my pages as they'll look
in the browser? i made the page, i already KNOW there's a javascript involved
and will go to 'split' or 'code' views if i need to mess with it!
thanks
paul

| Hi, Paul:
Edit->Preferences->Invisible Elements.
Uncheck the "scripts" option.
Some time ago, I created a toolbar that lets you show/hide those invisible
elements (and some other DW visual options) in a snap:
