Linking to JavaScript file not working

| My <script language= "text/javascript" src= "corefunctions.js"></script>
doesn't seem to work on Netscape 7.1 Mac and IE on WinXT. Mac Safari finds all
the Java Functions fine, but not on other browsers. Is there a secret?
Something I am missing?
The .js file is in the same directory as all my .html files, but the code is
in a library item. The failing functions are function MM_jumpMenu and a
function for BBBonline's Cetificates.
