| We are trying to do dropdown menus (popups) without using popups in dreamweaver
or fireworks. I understand HTML and can correct minor things but can't write
well in code. Why does it work in one version and not the other.

| You are trying to apply a behavior directly to a 'layer'? Sounds a little
dicey to me. What are you trying to accomplish?
