After upgrading from dial-up to Broadband my Dreamweaver MX 6.1 LOCKS up
completely (Windows XP Home) when I attempt to synchronize the site. It even
locks up if I attempt to synchronize pages that have dependent files. Is the
connection so fast that it confuses Dreamweaver MX 6.1?

That shouldn't have a thing to do with it. I use MX with broadband and
dial-up at different times and don't have any problems. Have you tried using
another FTP client? Have you tried using Passive Mode?
