I made a small 4 page website with dreamwever, put in meta tags and keywords
and put it on the web, registered it with some search engines, and later I
added about 10 reciprocal links. It showed up on google after about a week on
about July 24th 2004. It is listed as approx. the 275th listing in one
catagory. When it first appeared it was listed about 750th in that same
catagory. My question is this, will Google index it again soon, and as a result
be listed higher with better page rank, or is it indexed as much as it can be
indexed already and not likely to get a higher listing by Google unless I make
drastic changes to it? If I left it as it is for months would the ranking
improve with time, just because it would have had more hits? What time of this
month does Google index sites? Do sites have low rankings the first month just
because they are new?
