Author Studio MX 2004 Activation and Two Machines?

Apologies if this has been asked before but I couldn't find a similar
posting on my news server.

I currently have Dreamweaver/Fireworks v4 and am considering upgrading
it to Studio MX 2004. The problem is I would like to have it installed
on two machines at the same time.

Basically I want it installed on my main desktop machine but would
also like it installed seperately onto my laptop for those times when
I am away but still need to use it.

Can I do this? Looking through Macromedia's website the implication
seems to be that if I want to do that then I need another license.
Problem is I am using this software privately, don't make any money
from it so am already debating with myself regards the cost of
upgrading it, let alone paying for another copy!

Thanks.

If you want to install on two machines, you have to buy two licences.
It's a bummer, but what can we do?

http://www.macromedia.com/software/eula/tools/

Section 2(b) states that the primary user can install the software on two
computers as long as you don't use both copies at the same time.

You should (by my reading) be OK.

Pete,

Thanks for that, I missed it completely when I looked on their
website.

I shall now splash the cash and upgrade :-)
