You do realize that even if you can import fonts into DW that it won't do
you any good if the person viewing the site doesn't have that font installed
on their system right?

If you have symbols on your system, but I don't have that font it won't view
the same for me. If you need symbols the best thing to do is find out what
the keystrokes are to create that symbol in html. IE a bullet is "—"
in html.

There are programs that you can use so that a viewer can see a font off your
website but this in't good for people on 56k it's best to select one of the
font selections in dreamweaver (those are all comon fonts and pretty much
everyone ahs them) to add new fonts to your system drop them in
"C:\WINDOWS\Fonts" but remember if you add it without them having it it will
use there default font (unless you use an image but this isn't good if you
white a whole page since search engines can't read pictures)

Actually, you need to install them using the Font installer in the Control
Panel.

Actually, the real problem is that the method is not universally supported.
So - why add the overhead for something that will not be seen by everyone?
