Hi guys,

How can I record someones email address when they load a page?

You can't log their email address, anyway why would you want something like
that without their permission.... What are you trying to exactly?

Thanks Nadia

I wanted to record the addresses so that when there was an update to the
site I could let them know without them having to fill in a form. It is a
local pool league site which only the league members would be interested in
I suspect.

In that case, I'd suggest an opt in newletter type scenario.

Get the members to sign up for the newsletter and you have their email
addresses :-) That way you know which members want to be notified of any
updates and you won't get abused for spamming.

Newsletters? maybe your most can provide something along those lines, if
not, have a look at www.hotscripts.com or do a google search for newsletter
software.
