Author How to rebuild Dreamweaver template associations?

As of yesterday, whenever I updated my root template, it updated all 56 pages
that were based on that template. (when I updated a non-editable region).

Suddenly today, when I update the root template, it only list 2 files as being
derived from that template! It's as if Dreamweaver has lost track of which
files were based on that template.

If I do a site-wide "update pages", then all 56 pages are updated, and if I go
into the individual page, and select "update page" the update then occurs. But
when modifying the base template, the other pages are no longer updated. It
just seems like Dreamweaver has lost track of them.

Is there a way to 'rebuild' the internal template association Dreamweaver
makes so that when I update the root template, all 56 pages on my site once
again get updated?

Thanks!
Mark

You can try two things -

1. Recreate the site cache (Site | Recreate Cache), or
2. Delete the site definition and recreate it

The real question is how did this happen? Are you by chance working with a
local site on a remote network drive?
