The latest on changes MS is making to IE through SP2, which will probably be
released within the next couple of weeks. Some of these will affect how you
design Web pages.

ROFL - after reading the entire article about pop ups and how sp2 handles
them, I rated the article at the bottom of the page. After clicking submit,
the resultant page tried, unsuccessfully, to launch a pop up :-D

note: I am not bashing MS in any way; I just found the irony quite amusing.

Hey, can you blame them for getting in their last pop-ups before SP2
squelches them?

(:})

For those keeping track at home, the reliable word is that SP2 is still
scheduled for public release on August 25th, when it should start going out
over Windows Update, but won't be highly promoted until September 20th, when
the site download becomes available. 72 megs for XP Home and a whopping 90
megs for XP-Pro.

Don't get me started.....I helped open the Tobacco Company Restaurant, was
on WVGO there for a number of years, started Richmond's Tacky Xmas
Decoration Contest and Grand Highly Illuminated House Tour etc etc blah blah
blah. Ah, the good ole Richmond days....
