Author Database to web page contectivity

Hi, I know this is going to be basic stuff for most of you if not all but it's
a mare for me.

My website http://www.feeandme.com has an under constuction link to a new page
which I am trying to make dynamic. The rest of the site is one link to one page
and I have so much stuff now this is not practical anymore.

My issue is as you will see I have 4 menus whic I want dynamically loading
from my database. They do this now but they list all the items in the database
for thr relevant menu. I want them to be related. ie if the user selects one
item in the first menu I want the other menus loading with options which are
related to the first and so on so that the user always finds something and the
serch never comes back with zero results.

Thats what I want to happen, the issues I have is that I have never used a
database before although I ahve got this conected to the mysql on my providers
site. I don't know who to interface the page with the database. and I don't
know how to build a results page.

I want it to be the same format as I alreaduy have on the manually made pages,
ie the first one to have a list of hyperlinks with a brief description and the
next to some the item.

Like I said basic stuff if you know how, the problem is I don't,

Any advice, (constructive, that is!!), welcome

Thankd in advance.

Guy
