Author print my webpage...shifts..what to do?

why is it everytime I print out the webpage the entire page is shifted several
inches to the right, cutting off some content. im using layers. how do i
control printing and make adjustments so the page prints nicely? thanks

Make sure that you have no page content that is wider than about 620 pixels
to print properly on 8.5x11 inch paper. You can use print stylesheets to
adjust your 'print friendly' page....
