Yet another question about video

| Hi All,
I've been experimenting with putting video on a web page. After playing
with different formats, frame rates, compression techniques, about the
only thing I've managed is to totally confuse myself. The first thing to
know is that this is for a non-profit association without a streaming
server, or the money to pay for one.
My Flash MX 2004 Complete Reference says that Flash is not an efficient
mechanism for delivering video, but the Flash files I've created seem to
be smaller, by far, than any other format with quality not suffering too
terribly.
I've heard a lot about using QuickTime, but my experiments have resulted
in the QuickTime movies being HUGE, even with compression and frame
rates set to make the file as small as possible, even to the point where
the video is pretty poor. I must be missing something there.
You can take a look at some of my attempts at:

So, does anyone have any pointers that might help me out of my
confusion? Any really good tutorials on preparing video for the web,
best formats, etc?

| Hi, i am new to dreamweaver as well as these forums; so i hope this is okay to
do. I am also having problems with video compression so i will be eagerly
awaiting the resposes to you question, but i would like to ask you a question.
I saw your site and how you had the video come up in a fixed location within
your page and switch media players, i have been trying to do this for a week
now. Can you help?

It's just an IFRAME. I use a PHP script to write the page displayed in
the IFRAME based on parameters passed to it, but you could make
individual pages for each movie just as easily.
