Author Dreamweaver MX (Not 2004) trial/download?

Any place I might still be able to get this? I hear it works perfectly under
CrossOver Office (Linux) and wanted to give it a try. MX 2004 has some
serious issues or I'd use that.

Thanks for your time,
Micahel

I doubt MM is offering version 6 as trial anymore.
OTH, I also doubt that MX2004 has "issues". The first release had some,
but the update and "hotfix" fixed this for e.g. Mac OS X, which is
pretty similar to *nix.
Since trial is free, why not do exactly that?

suggest looking in the remaindered section of a bookstore, for a year old
copy of a dreamweaver book. Check the back cover, many of them have Cd's and
may include a copy of the Try before you buy version.

as a second guess, if you are handy with google, it can be stumbled across
on university sites for in-house use.

I don't think he mentions that DMX2004 has issues in and of itself, but that
it has issues running under CrossOver Office (a Linux compatability
product).

If you go to the bookstore, preferably a discount one, you'll probably be
able to find it in a Dreamweaver MX book of some sort, or maybe in a
magazine. You might also try some of the usual download outlets like
downloads.com, tucows.com, or versiontracker.com.

Best regards,
Chris

Yes, I understood that and answered accordingly.
Why not test?

I did that last night - It was "interesting" but not successful.
