Author - Strange question about defined sites...

When you launch DW, it automatically opens the last site you worked on.

But say you are working on something quick.. something that doesn't require
its own defined site... everytime you save something, it reminds you that
you're outside the current site... but what if you don't want to be in ANY
site? It can get annoying to have DW always format things for the site
you're on when you can't tell it to NOT be on any site. It defaults to the
last site, then you can choose among your site list which area you want to
work in... but there is no NONE option.

Or is there? Anyone know of one?

DW does this for a good reason, since you pretty much want it to manage your
site somewhat or your links may not work, etc, etc. I have a site defined
called "Test" which I use for random things like that. You still have to
choose it, but that way odd pages (or test pages) aren't in a real site's
directory where they could cause trouble or I can forget where they are.

My site for doing this stuff is my Desktop. Define a site from where
you want to perform this quick stuff. You may find it handy to tell DW
to open only the Site when you fire it up.
