| I was just wondering how I can link a video, this can't be to complicated. I
thought all I'd need was some text, highlight that, go to link, and place my
selected video. Make sure the video was uploaded to the webserver and I thought
it would work. But it didnt. Does anyone have a way to make this work?

| That's all you need to do. Are you sure the video is uploaded to the right
directory?
Post the URL so we can see what the problem is.

| It doesn't make any difference what folder it's in as long as you link to it
and upload it to that folder. Right now you're linking to
http://www.aquaticaquaria.com/images/tanks_vid.wmv and there is no file by
that name in the folder, so of course it won't work.

| are you saying I have no files im y /images folder? because I do, and thats where I have that video too. Maybe theres something I'm not understanding here

| I'm saying your page links to a video named "tanks_vid.wmv" in the location
http://www.aquaticaquaria.com/images/tanks_vid.wmv. There is no video by
that name there. That's why when you click the link you get an error page. I
have no way of knowing if there's anything else in that folder.
- Make sure the video is in that folder ON YOUR SERVER.
- Make sure the link is accurate and pointing to it.
- It will work

| there IS the file in that folder and it IS on the server

| I dont get it, I just did the same thing with a link to a picture and it works

| hey I understand that its not working, this is why I'm asking the question. What I'm telling you is that the video is in the images folder and is uploaded onto the webserver
| |

| Then obviously something is wrong. If you're 100% positive it's in the
images folder, then maybe the name is different. Is the extension actually
..wmv?
If you want to privately email me your login and password I can look in the
folder and see what's going on, otherwise you need to see what's different
between what you have linked and the actual file, folder name, or whatever.

| yes its .wmv, I'm sure everything is right about the name and folders and whatever.

| Well, I don't know what else to tell you. Obviously something IS wrong or
I'd be able to see the video. Instead there's a 404 error which means the
file in question isn't there. Or is mis-named. Or linked wrong. Good luck
finding which it is.
