Dreamweaver - Nested Templates

Hi,

Im trying to learn Dreamweaver and im finding it real hard. I am making this
website and im trying to apply this template to one of my pages, when i go to
the Assets tab in the File Panel and to the Template section, when i click
Apply at the bottom of the page to apply the template to the page I get a
message "Template/Default is nested inside itself (directly or indirectly) and
the template wont be applied to the page.

Anyone know how i can 'unnest' the template so that i can apply it to the page?

Sorry if this is not very clear, but i can barely understand what is going on
myself!!

Please show me the code on the template page.

By the way, attachments are discouraged for this and other Macromedia
forums, and to make matters worse, they do not carry forward from the
webforums into the NNTP forums, which is where most of the people who post
answers are visiting. If you want to broadcast your code so that everyone
can see it, the really only way is a) to paste it into a reply (not great if
there is lots of code), or b) to upload it somewhere and post a URI to it.
