Full path link help

| Hello all,
I'm trying to create HTML email files in dreamweaver. When I create a site
the links are set up relative to the document or to the site root. My problem
is I need to have fully qualified links so that the images when sent via email
will show up. When I use fully qualified URLs now, all the images appear
broken. Is there a way to see the images in dreamweaver AND have full URL's as
the links? Thanks for the help.

| Two tips on this:
1) Let dw know what the full path to your site is:
Dw menu-->Site-->Edit Site
Select that site, press Edit
Click the "Advanced" tab at top, because it's quicker to find things.
Click "Local Info" in the category list on left.
Fill in the "HTTP Address" line with the address you use.
Now dw will treat absolute paths that are within your site as local paths.
2) install this extension to change linking methods with a click of a
button:
If you want to quickly change links to a different linking method- install
the Relativity Extension.
http://e7x.com/dw/ Relativity ext.
or here
http://www.microwaved.plus.com/dw/
(this means you can make relative links in dreamweaver, quickly, and then
presto change all of them to full http:// links without hand typing the
domain name)

| filling in the http:// address with This Site's root url should work.
If this site is hosted at http://www.mysite.com/ and you enter that in the
http address in site def, and use http://www.mysite.com/myimages/mypic.jpg
as the src for an image, it WILL show in design view.
if it doesn't there's something else going on.
Or- are these images on a different site?
